Health
Vaccinations
Every guest needs current vaccinations before their first stay.
Bring records from your vet at the meet-and-greet, or have your
clinic email them ahead of time.
- Dogs: rabies, DHPP, and bordetella.
- Cats: rabies and FVRCP.
- Records must show current dates — a vet email or photo is fine.
Logistics
Drop-off and pickup
Drop-offs and pickups happen during business hours so arrivals
stay calm for the pets already here.
- Drop-off and pickup windows: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, seven days a week.
- Plan 10–15 minutes at drop-off for a quick handoff chat.
- Need a time outside the window? Call ahead and we’ll try to work it out.
Meals
Food
Pets do best on their own food — switching diets mid-stay is
a recipe for an upset stomach. Bring your pet’s usual food,
portioned or in the original bag with instructions.
- Bring enough for the full stay plus a day or two extra.
- We feed on your pet’s normal schedule, not ours.
- Forgot the food? We keep a quality house kibble on hand — just tell us.
Care
Medications
We administer medications on schedule at no extra charge —
pills, drops, or supplements. Label everything and walk us through
the routine at drop-off.
- Original containers with dosing instructions, please.
- We log every dose so nothing gets missed.
- Pets with complex medical needs: talk to us first so we can plan the stay.
Timing
Booking lead time
Most stays book two to three weeks ahead. Holidays and summer
weekends fill first — if your dates are set, don’t wait.
- Standard stays: book 2–3 weeks out.
- Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, July 4th): book as early as you can.
- Last-minute trip? Call — we’ll tell you honestly what’s open.
Changes
Cancellations and deposits
Plans change — we get it. Give us as much notice as you can
so another family can take the dates.
- We’ll go over our deposit and cancellation policy when you call to book.
- Holiday stays may require a deposit to hold the dates.
- Questions about a change? Reach out and we’ll sort it.
